It’s hard to capture the magnitude of spirit I feel here. When I stepped onto the herbal path I knew right from the start I didn’t want to sit at a desk and just read about these plants and trees; I wanted to FEEL them. I wanted to experience their spirit and essence, and have the opportunity to begin a relationship and communicate with them. Every day I would walk into the garden in my bare feet and I was greeted with these beautiful colours and aromas, all unique in their own way, and after working for awhile I would sit and take a break and hum or sing a little song, or just get right down and talk to them. I had a moment one day that brought tears to my eyes, only a few weeks ago actually, when all the plants were at their peak and the life force was so abundant, thick and profound you couldn’t ignore it. My ears started to ring and my heart seemed to beat at a different pace, and I just knew that these plants were communicating with me. It was an outer body experience where that moment was just so BIG, you know? I was watching it happen to me. Deja vu smacked me in the face, as I realized I had come back to this part of the grand spiral… I’ve been doing this work for life times. The re-wilding continues.
