Calendula, Milky Oats, Mugwort, Yarrow and Comfrey.🌻
My son and I spent the morning cleaning up the garden and harvesting these plants which offer their own unique gifts and medicinal properties. The unseen medicine a garden provides is the opportunity to work alongside and connect with nature and my son after a long week. My son is on the threshold of his teens and I feel our time together is fleeting with the demands of school and life growing all the time.
Sun on our skin, earth under our feet, conversations with my young man that probably wouldn’t surface otherwise, but we share our week with the plants and each other.
